About MOIA

MOIA was founded in 2017 as a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group and aims to complement and improve mobility systems of cities by offering large-scale, high-capacity on-demand ridepooling. This approach, rolled out in Hamburg and Hanover, has made MOIA a household name in those cities by offering citizens a viable alternative to their personal cars. MOIA is committed to autonomous driving technology and aims to bring driverless fleets to European roads as early as 2026.
